Happy Valentine’s Day! In America, 58 million pounds of chocolate will be purchased, over 190 million cards will be exchanged, 6 million couples plan to pop the question, and 11,000 babies will be conceived. Valentine’s Day means a great deal to many people.
Whether you are in a relationship, have children, spend time with friends, or simply like to treat yourself on Valentine’s Day, make hearing our last two messages in Solo to Soulmates a priority. Or go on-line here and catch up with any you missed. Might be a great date night!
Let me share something that has been life-changing for me: the love languages. When it comes to love (romantic or platonic), people prefer to receive love in one of five particular ways: words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. If you know the primary love language of your spouse, kids, or significant other, keep that in mind when planning for them. If you do, it will make your “gift” that much more meaningful and special.
If you don’t know their love language or your own, take the free quiz at 5lovelanguages.com. God has the corner on love! So let’s get this one right!

CURRENT SERIES: “MADE” -A SERIES ABOUT SEXUAL INTEGRITY
When it comes to sex, we all have certain ideas and expectations of what it should—or shouldn’t—be about. But what if all those thoughts and ideas are actually missing the mark? In this series we take a look at God’s design for sex and discover that there’s more to it than we think. Parents, we want to partner with you in talking to your students on this sensitive topic. We encourage you to please contact Mitch Summers (email@example.com) or Jeremy Thiess (firstname.lastname@example.org) or see the Parent Cue (PDF) for more information about what this series is about to decide if you wish your student to hear these messages.
